Super nice couple and a cute dog. I drive everywhere in Italy which is no small feat, but would NEVER drive or recommend for anyone to rent a car for transit on the Amalfi Coast. Even in low season, it is very difficult for experienced Italian drivers because of narrow roads, blind corners, and frankly bad/aggressive drivers. In high season, driving on the Amalfi Coast is simply insane. You will regret every moment behind the wheel...trust me! If you feel like you must drive, rent a scooter or hire a private driver.

Hello , we plan to arrive Amalfi from Rome, so we rent a car to drive there , I know that there is a restriction for turrets driving in the area , Odd car numbers to Odd days etc, is it recommended to do stuff and explore the area even the restrictions by rental car or is it better to find alternatives ?
